Sandy brown Jensen

Sandy Brown Jensen is an arts reporter for KLCC.org with a bi-weekly show called Viz City. She has an MFA in Poetry but her life journey has taken her more deeply into photography. She specializes in one-of-a-kind gilded photographs, and she is widening her practice into alt processes. Jensen is involved in dreamwork and seeks to capture the dream image in a variety of ways, all of them calling to the emotion of the moment whether portrait or landscape. She is drawn to gilded photography because of the jewel-like luminosity that results. She admires the effects that are possible through alt processes that allow the artist to go beyond the snapshot into a more layered and nuanced vision of the dream world.
